tldr; Tumblr needs rebloggable #pfp.
I'm part of Tumblr Creatrs, a talent pool used for sponsored campaigns and in-house projects on and off the social media platform. I was one of a few illustrators pulled for an internal project to create a new set of avatar for users to select from when creating a new blog or to throw on an existing one. Illustrations would also be used for content posts by Tumblr.
The brief called for broadly thematic illustrations that would still be relevant to niche communities within Tumblr. I pitched ten concepts to members of the Tumblr Creative Services team and five were selected for completion.
